The TinyFest in Santa Clara brought thousands of Californians to the Bay Area on September 14 & 15th, 2024. RBG spoke on "Making Tiny Home Communities a Reality," where enthusiasts learned how to build a tiny home community by utilizing existing ordinances or with new legislation.
Mesa Farms in Ojai, California opened its doors of its Tiny Home Community to Aging out of Foster-care young adults on June 8,2024. July 21, 2020, the City of San Diego approved the Movable Tiny Home under the ADU (aka Companion Unit) Ordinance.

On April 16th the City of San Diego Planning Commission voted unanimously in favor of adding Movable Tiny Homes under the ADU Ordinance for the City of San Diego!
